IOQM(Pre-RMO) is the first round of qualifying exams to select students eligible for the Regional Mathematical Olympiad (RMO) Exam. The selected students then move to the next qualifying stage called The Indian National Mathematical Olympiad Program. This leads to the participation of Indian students in the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) Examination.
IMO is conducted by Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE) on behalf of the National Board for Higher Mathematics (NBHM)- Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India.
The main purpose is to identify & empower incredible mathematical talents among pre-university students in the country.
